So I love listening to podcasts, reading self help books, etc. so I thought it would be fun to list my favorites of the past year!

  1. “Untamed” by Glennon Doyle

I read and reread every page in this book so many times as I went through it. Glennon Doyle drops so much gold. Her book was really the inspiration for so many changes in my life and if I could recommend one book to the women in my life, this would be it.

2. “The Sober Lush

This was another one of my favorite reads. If you’re interested in living a life that is rich in experiences, tastes, and creating your own daily adventures, this is for you.

3. The EmpowerHER podcast

I just want Kacia to be my best friend. Her show is perfectly timed short snippets that I just love to listen to when I need a pick me up.

4. The Mantra app

I used to think affirmations were silly and a bit too “woo woo” for me. But if you have the tendency to think negatively throughout the day, and have areas of life that you would like to shift your beliefs, Mantra is a great way to remind yourself of what to focus on.

5. The Journey App

As much as I hate taking the time to do it, reflecting has been the most contributable tool that I have used in my own personal growth. I believe that in order for real change to occur, you have to change your subconscious. If you personally write your own life experiences and contrast what makes you feel good/doesn’t, what makes you feel aligned/doesn’t, then you will be able to genuinely and more effortlessly find the right path.
